Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail Expansion Revealed, Coming Summer 2024

Final Fantasy XIV publisher Square Enix and developer Creative Business Unit III have revealed Dawntrail, the MMO’s next expansion, and it hits the game next summer.  Square Enix revealed Dawtrail today, the first day of Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas, with a new trailer showcasing the tropical New World and many beloved characters in the new locale. Shortly after the reveal, director Naoki Yoshida took the stage to discuss the expansion as part of the Fan Festival’s keynote presentation.  Check out the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion trailer for yourself below:  Yoshida says the logo art for Dawntrail was created by Yoshitaka Amano using the color gold, which is the theme color of this expansion. Lara Croft, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, And 21 Savage Are Joining Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II And Warzone

Tomb raider Lara Croft and hip hop artists Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and 21 Savage are joining Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone sometime during Season 5, which launches next month.  More specifically, Season 5 of Modern Warfare II and Warzone begins August 2 and it’s during this season Lara Croft, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and 21 Savage will join the game as playable Operators. Lara Croft will arrive as an Operator bundle on the store mid-season, as will 21 Savage, but Snoop Dogg will arrive in the launch window and Nicki Minaj hits the game “in-season,” according to a Call of Duty blog post about Season 5.  Call of Duty brings these musical artists to the game to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop. Anyone who logs in between August 7 and August 16 on four separate days within that time period will receive a free gift. The first three days will grant a War Track from the 80s, 90, or 2000s. On the fourth login day, you will receive a special Weapon Blueprint....

Check Out Nearly 20 Minutes Of New Lords Of The Fallen Gameplay

Developer Hexworks and publisher GI Games have released a new extended gameplay presentation for Lords of the Fallen with nearly 20 minutes of new footage.  Lords of the Fallen hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC this October , and ahead of the game’s release, Hexworks and CI Games are pulling back the curtain on its dark fantasy world and action RPG combat. In the gameplay presentation, we get a new look at the living realm known as Axiom, where players must traverse harsh and gothic environments to defeat Adyr, the Demon God. Monster Hunter Now Launches This September

Monster Hunter Now will launch on iOS and Android this September.  Developer Niantic and Monster Hunter publisher Capcom revealed this during a special Monster Hunter Now Showcase that aired today. More specifically, the Pokemon Go-like mobile game will launch globally on September 14, and players can pre-register now to help every player receive special bonuses in-game. Where most platformers dole out fun using the adrenaline-inducing triumph of challenge, Illusion Island is instead built around the joy of movement, thanks in part to its combat-less exploration, and the delight of controlling some of the most recognizable mascots in the world. It plays a bit floaty and simple, especially for seasoned fans of the genre, and I wanted my platforming prowess pushed more, but Illusion Island is still always fun.  The Fab Four are tricked into traveling to Monoth, an original locale created by developer Dlala Studios for Illusion Island, to save its inhabitants.
